What are CABLOC Polymers?
CABLOC Polymers are crosslinked, or crosslinkable, homopolymers or copolymers with water bindinggroups. In dry form superabsorbent polymers are not water soluble, but possess the ability to absorb water up to 400 times their original volume.

How do CABLOC Polymers work?
When exposed to water CABLOC superabsorbent polymers immediately swell, either absorbing all the water orblocking additional water. When incorporated into cabling, CABLOC protects wires and fiber optics from preventable water damage.Another advantage of CABLOC's rapid swelling is that any void within the cable is immediately sealed, preventing water movement and minimalizing potential damage.
